Dallas Cowboys starting cornerback Orlando Scandrick could be in uniform this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. The NFL had originally suspended Scandrick for the first four games of the season for testing positive for MDMA, or more popularly known as the street drug Molly. The rumor is that he was slipped the drug by his then-girlfriend (although rumored to be dating once again) and Basketball Wives star, Draya, during a trip to Mexico.
So how is he back? Well, it’s the NFL (See: Rice, Ray).
In more technical terms, the NFL and the players association are close on an agreement that will put in place a new drug policy that will be enforced retroactively, making this the first strike for Scandrick. Will he be the savior for the Cowboys defense? No, but this certainly helps especially with the recent news that starting LB Justin Durant will be out the next 3-4 weeks with a groin injury. Yeah, it’s going to be a long season for Cowboy fans, but we are all used to that by now.
