In the midst of it all, glorify God

God has put it on my heart to continue to share my testimony, especially when times are tough. Despite how enjoyable it is to cover sports and live out my dreams, sometimes things are difficult.

Through Dallas Sports Fanatic (DSF), we’ve been able to inspire and bring people together. It is God’s Will for my life to use everything I do, in my 9-5 job and through DSF, to Glorify His Name. This I’m sure of.

You see, when someone attacks us, it is our instant reaction to fall away from God a focus on the things of the world, but instead, we must lean on God. When attacked, we must continue to love our enemies.

The Bible tells us:

27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. 30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.” Luke 6:27-30 NIV

When we proclaim Jesus, the devil loves to shake things up. God sets our standard. When you walk in the light, that’s when the devil loves to send trouble. We must continue to believe in God and the standard He sets.

The light will always overcome darkness.

To the person(s), people, whoever, trying to attack me, my family, my friends, my business: keep trying. Remember you’re not attacking us, you’re attacking God’s work. You’re only challenging and motivating us to do even better. We’re so driven, we don’t get tired, we don’t sleep.

We’ll rest in Heaven when the work is done.
